WES is now planned to begin in mid-October 2008. The first planned delivery is June,the DMU trailer unit, followed shortly by the first powered car #1001. A good guess on the storage location is the new WES Wilsonville maintenance facility.

The May 16th membership meeting program of the Pacific Northwest Chapter, National Railway Historical Society (www.pnwc-nrhs.org) will be Chris Novonty, TriMet, talking about the Westside Express Service, Oregon's first commuter rail project which will run between Wilsonville and Beaverton.
