I monitored the UP's dispatcher radio and heard him giving them track warrants at Sandpoint about 9 pm. Apparently they did not wye anything in Eastport, but ran the power around the train and the 5341 was leading from Eastport to Sandpoint. They then wyed the whole train at Sandpoint. The 6936 was on the point southbound and the train was configured as it had been on the northbound trip.
They arrived at Velox-Trentwood about 11:30 pm and at Fancher Rd for crew change about midnight. They got permission from BNSF Boyer West Dispatcher and departed at 12:15 am, reporting 13-0-1600 tons 1900 feet. Here is a night shot of them at Fancher Rd.
