There are a few notable railroad things to see in Las Vegas. The southern tip of Boulder Highway is the location of the Museum that has an old U.P. steam locomotive and caboose on display. A little farther south but hard to find unless You know LV/Henderson pretty good is an ex ATSF restored caboose at a day care center. About midway on Lamb Blvd is an ex ATSF coach and ex UP caboose as well as other items in a guys yard. And finally, on the north end of the strip in the vicenity of the Freemont Street Experience (which You will definately want to see after dark) is the Main Street Station. On site (besides an AWESOME buffet!) is the ex UP dome 9000 [trainweb.org] and just a few blocks south a Colorado Midland and another wooden restored car. Enjoy!!!
