I can't imagine anyone in Marin being elected on a platform of having frieght rail from gravel mines and container ports running through the county. And then there is Humboldt County. The train believers keep losing elections there and now nobody who wants to be elected in that county will claim that mantle. Pretty soon Marin will not be alone on the NCRA board. Once the people of Sanoma and Mendocino see this they may not want it either.
