It seems to me that we have now have a generation of folks, that only see to their fence. If it doesn't benefit them directly we will fight it to the end, if it benefits me directly, we will rally behind it. I live in the South Bay and see this daily, thank God that we have enough folks that care to do the right thing (widen highways, fix water systems, and add to public transit), even if it is years late.

To me Novato, is a sleepy community that cares only for itself, elects folks that will not support the strategic plans of the area, and are instead charged by the voters to maintain the status quo.

With these folks in charge, we would have never gotten a Gold Gate Bridge.
