On another site, there are a lot of assumptions by various people, most of which are not from the area or who do not regularly work the area. For example, one says the UP job was RCL. So it was a remote engine but that does not mean it was operating as a remote. Let's wait on the facts people, not what a locomotive engineer thinks he sees from his iPhone across the state or via the interwebs.
