Before the rain, there will likely be strong winds, which can't be good:

BNSF has already issued high wind warnings here in north Idaho. Trees reported down across some roadways and at least one section of RR. Dust has blown in from eastern WA, making air and visibility conditions worse than what we've seen from the weeks of wildfire smoke.
