TriMet MAX Orange Line

Here's a heads up -- the new TriMet MAX Orange Line light rail opens for operations this coming Saturday, Sep. 12.

The new route includes a station right by the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in southeast Portland, and parallels the UP, former SP main line at several locations.

The light rail stops at SE Clinton Street, SE Bybee Boulevard and SE Tacoma Street are immediately adjacent to the UP tracks and would make good photo spots. There is also an overpass at SE Bybee Boulevard that will provide good overhead shots.
