See how 90 feet of the upper girders is taller than the rest? That dates from the 1930s maybe, when Hwy 40 was improved/widened but remained two lane. They removed a support beneath the ends of 60 ft and 30 ft girders and so needed a taller 90-ft girder.

Then the big truss dates from the 1950s.
