Re: RIP Chris McLarney (SP&S 700)

For those of you who may not know, Chris was the visionary who, as a teenager, got SP&S 700 moved out of Portland's Oaks park and on the road to restoration and eventual operation. He was a founding member of Pacific Railroad Preservation Association (PRPA) which is now a part of the Oregon Rail Heritage Center.

Chris worked for Amtrak (or their contractor) at Portland Union Station for many years.
