6. SUMMARY OF THE SALE OF THE DOWNTOWN NOVATO THEATRE



Consideration of and possible action by the City Council and Redevelopment Agency of the City of Novato (RDA) Board to:



a. Adopt a resolution of the RDA declaring the Project exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and adopting CEQA findings;



b. Adopt a resolution of the City Council authorizing the transfer of the Downtown Novato Theater Property (APN 153-046-06) from the City to the RDA and authorizing the City Manager to sign the Grant Deed;



c. Adopt a resolution of the RDA approving the transfer and authorizing the Executive Director of the RDA to accept the grant deed;



d. Adopt a resolution of the RDA authorizing the sale of the Downtown Novato Theater by the RDA to Tallen & Keshen Holdings, LLC in the amount of $117,000.00 and authorizing the Executive Director to sign a purchase and sale agreement and grant deed regarding same;



e. Adopt a resolution of the City Council consenting to the purchase and sale agreement and authorizing the City Manager to sign same.
