Does anybody know exactly what trackage is being abandoned? The ex-Santa Fe Tulare branch is a whole different animal than the ex-SP Exeter branch and most of the Tulare trackage has long since gone to the scrapper. On the other hand,Railamerica said back in 2007 the the Exeter branch had not seen any revenue traffic south of Ducor in almost two years,so one would assume that this is the trackage affected-does anybody know for sure and where would one go on the internet to see the formal request and details. I understand that the remaining Railamerica branches in the central valley are healthy and appear to be safe pending a real economic slowdown.I still see solid carloading on the Huron branch as well as the north Exeter branch, the oil City segment, the Arvin branch,ex-west side branch out of Fresno, and the Clovis and Buttonwillow branches are doing great business in recent years If anybody could expound on this region,it would be greatly appreciated
