PRB / UP coal to Roberts Bank

Until proven otherwise, this was a "first of". Ever again ????????????

Watching it wending it's way thru Greater SODO was a thilling experience. Any hickup would have tied up Seattle, big time, but at their constant cruising speed, the locals hardly noticed it.

Before this sale was ever made, the entire routing was detailed and accepted at all levels in UP and BNSF. And then was being watched by many "expectant fathers and mothers".

Seattle was the only large community that may have earned advance notification.

The consist of 100% UP's best coal gons was obvious. And they were being watched.

Routing:

The right turn in southern Nebraska may have required a reversal. Comments please.

Westbound down the Columbia to northbound on the BNSF. Would this have required going thru Albina? I think a right turn on the North side of Portland is missing.

UP has their trackage rights to Tacoma. Was it then turned over to BNSF?

Our spy networks inside UP and BNSF owe us a "story behind the story". IMNSHO

In the meanwhile, my best regards to everybody responsible.

We also would appreciate a report from our Roberts Bank spy. Was the ship waiting?
