And keeping EJ&E technically independent would bypass all of this bull. All CN needed to do was purchase just enough stock to dominate its boardroom and then dictate terms for haulage or trackage rights. They probably wouldn't even need anywhere near a majority stake.

Not a damn thing anybody could do about that either - not even the CEO of EJ&E.

As usual - these big companies just gotta swallow up everything in their path. But in this case - there is no real percentage in that.

Did somebody here say something the other day about monkey hands in cookie jars!
