The location is Promontory Summit.

It is worth visiting like I did last June 28 on a blistering hot Utah day, just before the UP Class Reunion. Also worth driving on the abandoned right of way from which one can see Promontory Point. It amazed me how much parallel grading was done, over 200 miles. If I ever get over the car rental company stealing my 100 dollars worth of gifts, I will post the photos.
