I somewhat disagree with Jeff's comment about California scraps driving the Nevada economy.
Nevada could sustain itself easily on the internal mining, light manufacturing, the military
and agriculture. Tourism certainly adds to the mix though a decent percentage still comes from
places other than California and warehousing in both Las Vegas and Reno does little to create the type of jobs driving the growth in Nevada. Not to burst California's bubble but you're really not that important to the neighboring states.
