It wasn't the question that was at all really troubling, it was the myriad of mostly dubious, accusatory, conspiratorial, and "I told you so answers" that would appear to be of questionable substance or accuracy.

Even if UP put the Big Boy in its museum, out of the weather, and never restored it to operation (as they have stated it is their commitment to do, and for which they have expended extensive resources to move, in order to do) that would be an improvement, over slowly rusting away at the Fairgrounds.....

As to the other conspiratorial theories of some posters about the purported problems with oversight and management of the Rail Giants collection, the fantasy conspiracy of how this "cabal" has conspired to somehow "stop" "cab hops" at the Fairground....is an excellent example. I can just imagine the cost of the insurance that the Board of Supervisors would require for live equipment buzzing back and forth on the Fairgrounds property.....? Which I suppose this "dissident" vote of "one" will happily pony up, if asked, right?
