Well, I'm up in San Jose, but I might be able to help you out a bit.

IOALBR: there's usually at least one baretable train a day out of Oakland headed to Long Beach or somewhere else in SoCal

Autoracks north: AMLMIR

Autoracks south: AOASP

Starting mid-may: Autoracks/Intermodal north ILBOA (Mon-Wed-Fri)

The Oilcans run through SLO a few times a week I think

Amtrak 11/14 (Coast Starlights) and the Pacific Surfliners run daily

There's usually a southbound manifest too.

I'd say on a good day, you can catch about 5-6 freights.
