I should think something will happen to the Eastern 2 class ones. After all we already did have something more radical and comprehensive thereabouts, ConRail.

As to the UP if I were them what I would want most would be the ex-Santa Fe Transcon and maybe direct access to Atlanta, Florida. Since all that seems very far-fetched why not do the politically expedient thing and agree with the shippers in public?
