Not Really! Frivilous lawsuits are now the number one American pastime. They still linger on for months - at least until the videos are presented at "Discovery", which will of course discourage any smart lawyer of the plaintiff.

However, many lawyers ain't that smart - think they can put a good spin it. But if the railroad's insurance company wants to settle anyway, rather than fight it.. . . . .
