UNpatched SP SD-40 leaving Sacto for Ozol

My son, Benjamin, who is an Amtrak Conductor called at 9:30 am from Sacto. to say that w westman behind his Capitol Corridor Train has unpatched Speed Lettered SP 8550 as the 2nd unit in a three unit consist. He talked to the engineer who says they have some work before Oakland including Ozol where they might die. Ben says the unit is very clean.
