There appeared to be no significant disruption to the UP from this event, on the northern shoulder of the westbound lanes. Although I saw no departures from the news shots, which may have been delayed until the fuel was removed. The tracks are approximately 200' from the true location of the actual vehicle involved.

The freeway was closed while they removed the fuel into another tanker, and reopened.

It was reported that the cause was still under investigation. Tankers can become more unstable with partial loads due to liquid movement shifting the center of gravity of the vehicle, as has been associated with previous crashes.

Not much to really see here, but some of the almost delusional comments that this event generated are fascinating, however.
