Well, for all the people who were mad and upset over Fortress' involvement with the Neverland Ranch, it looks like that investment has been resolved - the mortgage on the property was sold to an investment firm, Colony Capital LLC.

Fortress recouped their investment and probably made a few bucks on it as well, in the matter of months.

There is no way that any railroad could recoup its investment in a period of time. Fortress knows what it is doing for the most part...I'm surprised they don't just try to sell off the RailAmerica empire...but I'm not sure who would want to buy CORP, either, save a railfan that just won a $150 milllion dollar Powerball jackpot.
