When A&K salvaged the Condon line, much of the 90-lb rail was stockpiled near the UP mainline beside I-84 where it sat for years.

About one mile of it was purchased by the Oregon Pacific and is in sewrvice on the East Portland Division. The SP&&S 700 and SP 4449 roll over it regularly during special events on the OPR.
