I've lived in LV for 17 years and I know traffic can vary greatly. But for a few years during the late 90's I had a one hour lunch break which I ate at trackside near Tropicana Ave. Rarely was I skunked and usually saw anywhere from 1-5 trains in that period. There was a WB vehicle train that was fairly consistent as well as a fleet of EB's that came thru. I remeber also a regular EB vehicle train that refueled about 8AM....but that was before they removed the fueling station. I think all of you guys have been very unlucky...as I was once on Tehatchapi...8 hours and 2 trains, and one of them was a work train. Oh well.
