A couple of these comments are really sad and pathetic, but all too real and frightening, and we hear that quite a lot lately.....don't we?

And yes, I certainly do trust the intelligence we've managed to program into that automated truck, over the intelligence displayed in a couple of the responses I've just read. It's obviously way safer and a lot smarter, since it doesn't seem to turn into an unhinged dangerous emotional frightened ranting angry alienated greedy little chimp, when confronted by change and uncertainty it is unable to comprehend.

Mook, fully automated trains have been around since at least the 1970's....on systems like Black Mesa. And, given some of the incredibly difficult work we've already done on automating the way less easily "programmable" "open" road and "autonomous" vehicle systems for cars and trucks, this should, in theory, be even be easier to program, in a more "closed" and an already significantly more logic structured "rules based" RR environment.
