The whole question is silly simply because Punta Colonet to Yuma with private capital will
happen long before Eureka to Willits with government capital. Stockton in an excellent example
of adaptation while West Sacramento is a glaring example of governmental ineptitude. I'm sitting
in Albuquerque chuckling at the fact that the new Rail Runner route into Santa Fe has a grade
so steep that a normal length train will be unable to traverse it. I think the example here is
that those who believe that the government will save us all had best look elsewhere.
