You say it was over the three day weekend?

Was it authorized scrappers or Meth Heads getting some extra metal with the long weekend? They gotta work fast as well and would not want to leave much behind. Metal is like gold these days.

Has anyone been around when they cut something up? What do they do with the engine block? Is it cut up too into manageable chunks? There must be lots of fluids to drain and contain, as well as cables and air hoses and electronics, and traction motors. Are they all recycled or saved for the used market?
