Those cars have been in terrible shape for years. The wheels, I think the proper term is trucks, weren't even up to current FRA standards. I know that at one time the homeless were living in them. If you had a lot of money to ante up, you could have bought them. But it was a good thing they are gone. If someone or group wanted to fix them they would have found a way to do it before now.
