SP's TE70-4 Popsicles in Oakland

The thread below mentions these four units being scrapped on site. Can anyone confirm this? The only discussion I could find about their apparent disposition was this Trainorders thread from 2005, but there was some doubt weather the scrapping was true: [www.trainorders.com]
