4449 meets an old friend

Ex-SP 4449 parked next to Amtrak 251 at the 50th anniversary Open House at Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal in 1989.

The two meet again 22 years later in Portland, Oregon -- only now, 251 is 90251, a non-powered cab unit in Amtrak Cascades service.
