CP Rail in Southern Interior BC

Can anyone tell me about CP operations in Southern Interior British Columbia? I have seen trains in Castlegar, Nelson, and Creston. I assume this network of lines connects with the rest of CP somewhere in Alberta, and that any trains in this area must come over Crowsnest Pass? How often do trains run? Any info will be much appreciated. I will be in that area again this summer.
