Mr Cajon indeed did you shop for a ticket at the Amtrak website for June 22 from say EMY to LAX???
I just rechecked and as of 9:33 AM PDT Tuesday Train 11 is still MISSING from the provided choices.
This means that the Train 11 Tehachapi Detour is still a GO--GO as of 9:33AM PDT 6-10-08.

Please STOP trying to scare people without getting the FACTS directly from the source.
If the detour were cancelled or reversed than Train 11 would be available to book from EMY to LAX on June 22, 2008.
