BOB2,

I always enjoy and respect your opinions. Sometimes I wonder why you even bother posting on this blog.

My wife and I travelled from Seattle to the Disneyland area, and back, last October. We usually prefer to use public transportation as we are both a tad bit sick of driving either our own cars or rental cars.

The Coast Starlight was wonderful, as were the San Diegans, or Surf Liners, if you prefer...

I won't bore everyone with all of the public transportation details in Seattle or the Anaheim area; but the weak link was the immediate Disneyland area to ARTIC. The bus service was pathetic. It was much easier and faster to take the bus from the Garden Grove Embassy Suites to Fullerton, and catch AMTRAK there, than take the bus to ARTIC.

ARTIC is a gorgeous station, but, my goodness, they dropped the ball on getting to it via public transportation from the resort area of Anaheim...
