I kind of like the idea (totally infeasible of course) of a monorail or hyperloop connecting Disneyland, the airport, ARTIC, Fullerton (for long-distance Amtrak, and both Riverside and O.C. Metrolink lines), and Knott's. Guessing the cost would be in the mid-high single-digit billion$, which could easily be covered out of 5-10 years's salary for the Disney CEO with little real effect on his take-home. Throw in some in-kind contribution from the public agencies involved (like r/w) and a bit of side cash from Cedar Point (Knotts' owner I think?) and perhaps a resort transportation district covering the little guys, and you've got a package, maybe even without any actual public money (so no prevailing wage?). Given the distances between stations, a standard Disney monorail might not be the best mode - it's a bit uncomfortable and slow for that (tops out below 50mph in Florida on the longer runs).
