Dear Mr. Hunn: I always enjoying reading your insightful and intelligent comments. As for Misty, I could give a rats ass about what she says. I suspect she is a politician, a bureaucrat or a lawyer, or both from Novato. She s doesn't have the guts to say who she is or why she in in this forum. She lacks the moxie to tell say who she is and because of that, I don't have an once of respect for her. She debates the fine points of the suit as if she is in court. This not her constituency and for the life of me, can not understand what she intends to prove here. If she were a basket weaver and was debating the fine points of her craft in a forum like this, I as a novice wouldn't throw my two cents in and challenge her statements. I don't think her comments are going to change anyones opinion. I am NOT a lawyer, but like yourself, have working knowledge of railroading. Anyway, this issue between Novato and NCRA is far from over, and I KNOW that the railroad will prevail. Whats is most interesting is that once SMART spends the Marin County Sales Tax to rebuild the railroad, the freight trains will run anyway, so no matter what happens, since NCRA HAS a legal freight easement, the trains will run regardless of whatever happens in the short term. So as my Dad once said, Misty can go and pound salt and continue to whine about this matter knowing that Novato can not stop the freight trains. PERIOD -30-
