Why didn't the city jump on the wagon and fine the railroads (or add a tax) about munitions being shipped in and out of Port Chicago? Even after that ship blew up in the 40s?

I hope the railroads sue the crap out these little tin horn city officers. The railroads were there WAY before and if the people don't like it, move away. They must stay up nights trying to think of a way to make money for their little town rather than working with the industries that were there long before.

The next thing is they will want to remove the bridge because "it just doesn't fit" with their views and plans.
