The shay loco at Libby just received $10K in grant money. The article says the money will go to pay consultants for advice on how to restore it.

A few years ago I saw in their meeting minutes that they got a quote from Pappas to do a boiler inspection for them, and they tried to get the city of Libby to give them the funds ($$$$) for it, but the city refused at that time.

Sounds like with these new grants they can start making progress.
