Alert for Antelope Valley Line

Metrolink Antelope Valley Line Service to Resume Thursday. Expect delays of 10 - 20 minutes due to speed restrictions. For updates, please follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Working collaboratively with officials from the U.S. Forest Service, CAL FIRE and the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Metrolink will be able to operate full service along the Antelope Valley Line Thursday morning. Speed restrictions between the Vincent Grade/Acton and Via Princessa stations may cause early morning trains from Lancaster to be delayed by up to 15 minutes.

The first train Thursday morning, Antelope Valley Line train 200, will depart Lancaster at 3:58 a.m. All southbound trains will depart Lancaster at their scheduled times, including limited-stop train 282, which originates from Palmdale.

Still cant believe they didn't attempt to run at least one train via the UP through Colton
(Even if it took and extra hour or 2) or connecting bus for the first scheduled departure
6 days without train or bus (that was advertised)
Poor commuters that were stuck with no other transportation
Not everyone has a vehicle to fall back on!
