Have been in my share of rolling saunas on BART too.

And out in the Valley, SacRT seems to have a hard time keeping the a/c working on the Siemens light rail cars - units seem like "dealer-installed" add-ons that aren't really strong enough. The CAF cars usually have great a/c; it's the rest of the cars' systems that seem a tad fragile on hot (over 100F) days. Interior maintenance and a/c seem to be what gets cut back first when there's a budget problem, and SacRT never really recovered from their recession-era problems. Will be interesting to see if anybody is willing to ride RT to games at the arena...
