New Sacramento Train Viewing Park - Sort Of

The City of Sacramento has finally opened the Fifth and Sixth Street bridges over the Union Pacific tracks. The bridges feature wide sidewalks, benches, and yet wider viewing areas - sort of like balconies - over the throat at the east end of the passenger station. The bridges were built to access the future Railyards development on the site of the Southern Pacific Sacramento Shops.
