When I was up there earlier this year, it was pretty low...although they finally got some "okay" rain and snow last winter in the front ranfe. It was noticeable that it was low out at Promontory Point. But the level has varied a lot over the years.

I seem to recall that the lake was really "full" back in the late sixties. And, that there were concerns that the lake was in danger of "spilling over" into adjacent low lying salt beds, for a while, if I recall correctly. There was an old corroded abandoned resort that was partially under water somewhere west of SLC, we drove out to back then, so you could see that up and down, impact on that.

What is the status of the RR causeway project?
