Not sure about fundraising, but I know a little about project scheduling. We in MOW will be vacating the Boiler Shop by year's end to allow a contractor to begin a massive renovation of the building (which is already funded), expected to take 2-3 years. Restoration, Operations, MOW and Signal Maintenance will work jointly out of a fenced compound North of the History Museum turntable during that time. Once the Boiler Shop work is finished, work on the Erecting Shop building should follow. Chances are the bulk of fundraising will take place while work is underway on the first phase (Boiler Shop). Others watching this thread may have better inside information as well.
