Misty, you only took a small bite, you must be on a diet. Port of Coos Bay, Oregon, most recently served by CORP (an ex SP Branch) has a half a dozen tunnels on it which will not clear double stacks. Port of Coos Bay, like Eureka wants to spend millions to gain this very valuable traffic base to enhance Port revenues. Some container traffic has come through the Port for Oregon but trucks have been used to transport it. Most of the export through the Port is lumber. The PORT wants to get import traffic but can't do it without upgrading the existing railroad. Sound familiar? Almost NIL is the number of containers coming through Oakland that are trucked to L.A. Reason why? Those containers are SHIPPED directly into Long Beach then trucked to L.A. points. Also, UP runs STACK trains from L.A. to Oakland anyway. Can't figure where you come up with this stuff. Also any business that may come out of Port of Eureka and moved by NWP has nothing to do with your suit. How could it? All it is speculation at this point and there is NO WAY you can stop Interstate Commerce. Period. It has happened yet and not likely in the future.
