Amtrak Surfliner consist

I rode the Amtrak 763 yesterday. Everyone kept saying how crowded the train was. I did not see the usual superliner car (car #5) behind the cab car so I and other violated a four seater.

Turns out the Superliner car was moved next to the engine in front of and as Business class along with the regular Business class car.
Opinions? Amtrak revenge of the Monthly Metrolink-pass? Reserved only train periods coming. Money to be made?
Extended (more) San Diego runs start Monday first SLO train will start at San Diego and run ahead of SCAX 603.
