I find it interesting that the comments of a negative nature are made anonymously. Economics and ONLY economics are going to make this happen. The sad point is that this will probably take place later rather than sooner. The environmentally blinded individuals need to see the "Impact" of the railroad pales in comparison to the emissions impact of the continued use of trucks to supply the materials needed to support their lifestyle. I don't live in the NWP area but I do travel through on a regular basis and see that the 101 corridor needs some relief. The answer is NOT adding lanes but getting commuters out of their cars and onto a train. The IER died too soon. I'll step down from my soapbox now. Thank you.
