A few lazy elitsts don't have any problem with getting their dividend checks, to pay the Marin home prices, but that unrepresentative small group of noisy Marin residents doesn't want to share any of the burden, that's for other folks isn't it?
There won't likely be that level of train traffic volune for years, if ever, anyway. So your just scare mongering, or being duped by scare mongers. If and when that level of traffic, more than 3 or 4 trains a day, get's there, you can do what people are doing in Riverside where we have to put up with the rest of the countries freight. You can double track and grade separate the line. This should be part of any deal that is worked out with the mitigation for the Port of Eureka, if and when that comes to pass. As to your, ad hominen, selective use of the high estimates of rail traffic, required in a competent environmental document, it shows you are either duping, or being duped.
Conspiracy? Psuedo-environmentalist nimby's lawyers in bed with right wing libertarian lawyers purportedly funded by oil companies? Why nobody would ever call that a conspiracy? It isn't really, it's just the new reality of front groups pimping and pandering for secret funders and contributors. Why would anybody want to use this issue to stop the commuter rail initiative when they are in the business of selling $5 gasoline? Has anybody checked the water up there, it seems like something is affecting a very small part of the population with hysterical hyper hate-train-itis? Worse, it seems to make a lot more people easily beguiled by a few schill's?
