The La Quinta was a 2-4-4 sleeper and the La Jolla a 12 db. It was for the "Golden Rocket" which never ran. Cars are decorated in Southwestern earth colors.

The Observation was originally named Joseph Pulitzer. It was later renamed Elihu C. Redfield after Finlay's great grandfather. The cars were purchased from Finlay Fun-Time Tours in 1995.
