Apparently Kopp has said that he favored Tejon but was shut down. Of course he was one of the prime movers in the terrible decision to favor BART to SFO over Caltrain to the East Bay Terminal and electrification. In the interim you have acquired a whole bunch of highrise foundations now in the way.

The fly in the ointment is the Tejon Ranch. I believe capitalization is the right word; the total value of the Ranch is small in relation to the cost of CAHSR. If they won't co-operate buy the bloody thing and turn it into a park.

To paraphrase John Huston as Noah Cross in "Chinatown": 'You think you know what you're dealing with here, Mr. Trump, but believe me you don't.'
