Perhaps we have the tree-climber to thank for that. I should correct myself in pointing out that in most maps and in quite a few historic references, @#$%& (that's D-e-v-i-l-s) Canyon is written without an apostrophe, at least where it applies to the canyon south of Kahlotus, WA. It was 30 years ago this spring that I first made mention of that "absence of an apostrophe" in some long-forgotten issue of Trains.
